2021-11-18 18:13:11 +0000 UTCThe city is fairly large! Not NYC level, but big enough to have several districts. It is fairly well connected because it’s a port town. And to that point Trains are around, but not prominent in this area since most of the travel is by sea.

There is a chancellor who is in charge of about as much as the president but most laws are determined by the judges. The chancellor must be a person from the high council, there are 12 high council members so when one gets elected they select a judge (of Mansa’s level) to takes their place. So to simplify: Chancellor High council (yellow coats) High council assistants (green coats) Judges (blue coats) Judges in training/students (red coats) This isn’t super important to the story, but if you’d like to know then here you are!

I think you’ve talked about the judge structure too but can you reiterate how that works? What does law enforcement look like? Edit: and how do the city laws work in tandem with the rest of the country? (You’re gonna need a wiki verse for this story at some point 😂)

2021-11-18 12:02:05 +0000 UTCThe cliffs that lead down to the beaches! I haven’t drawn them but they’re perfect for the boys as they’re mostly secluded, nobody around to judge or stare at them. Mansa would probably be in charge of sightseeing though and go straight to the wealthy shops and restaurants. The people there are judgy but they’ve got good taste

Their biggest exports are also their biggest imports, as they buy unrefined sugar, salt, and spices and then sell the refined products. They’re a large mill town with an even larger working class that the wealthy keeps benefitting off of 😅 Hexed items come in as a close second in terms of trade though! With such a divide in wealth there are plenty of people that deal in that market
