Song’s mostly in the right, the only problem is that he is completely incapable of responding calmly and rationally to an elevated situation 😅

How about any young Song questions today?

They live to 90-100, so maybe 10 years longer than humans. I’d say they mature about the same age as humans do.

Whiteley Foster

I dunno if this question's been asked before but does infernal age and grow at the same rate humans do? Do they have shorter or longer lifespan. Do they reach 'maturity' earlier?

Julibellule

:((

Vala

A bit after he and Elon broke up, he doesn’t want to go back to that

Whiteley Foster

Has Song had much financial responsibility in his life?

Pears

Song has no idea what happened. Mansa, please slow down and explain ☹😐😢

Atelerix

I love that Mansa isn’t the first but will be Song’s last everything that’s so damn wholesome and hopefully it’s similar with Mansa in that Song will be around for all his important firsts and lasts ❤️❤️

Nicola Coxon

Right now I'm also having a lot of money arguments so this is like giving me major anxiety 😭😭😭 it's okay it'll get better boys

Michelle Garcia

Everyone has asked the questions I thought if but if anymore come to me il be back 😊

Nicola Coxon

Thanks for answering all these questions. I love hearing about the world building you're doing behind these comics.

Despite their current domestic challenges (which every couple together that long has) and the tough things to come, I’m so very very glad they found each other 🥰🥰🥰

JillianVolts

He used to be self conscious about his horns (they are pretty large compared to other infernals) and he does still worry about them from time to time! Mansa’s biggest insecurities are internal, and mostly social!

Whiteley Foster

Hhhhhhhhhh 😭😭😭😭😭

Ash S.

Song seems so confident about himself physically (body, appearance), does he have any insecurities or hang ups? Does Mansa for that matter?

JillianVolts

Definitely a lot of poverty. They are allowed human jobs but there are just not a lot of them who can get those jobs.

Whiteley Foster

Ahhh mansa once again panicking instead of properly explaining and Song immediately getting defensive. Loves these guys but at the same time I worry about the way they deal with problems

Kyle Rose

What do infernals do for a living if they're kept from human jobs? Is there a lot of poverty in the infernal community?

Res Judicata

😿

Song liked Geography, he was very interested in traveling as a child! He went to school but it really wasn’t a good school at all. Song had a lot of different firsts, infernal schoolmates when he was little (but the kind of “dating” that goes on with school age children, just holding hands). From 12-16 he would hang out with a lot of human boys even though that got him in a lot of trouble - part of the reason there were so many was that they’d spend a little time together and get caught. The boy would be scolded for liking Song, and Song would move onto the next - he learned pretty quick how the world felt about people like him. His first innocent exploration would have been with one of them closer to the end of that age bracket. (He also met Etty around this time!) Then he met Elon, who was the first person he went all the way with when he was 16/17, and the first person he loved. When they broke up Song slept with every human he could get his claws on to help him forget, and that’s how he met Mansa! Mansa wasn’t Song’s first anything, but he is Song’s last (last first kiss, last first time together, last first “i love you”) - which I think is much more important 🥰

Clearly I'm going back to bed. Got the name wrong twice even after I read it 😂🤣🤣🤣

the.kitsuneko

Melody is their daughter 😊

Whiteley Foster

I was debating on the name 😂 Harmony is their kid then, right? Thank you for answering! I feared that was the case for Infernals 😣😣

the.kitsuneko

Song’s family struggled when he was a child with money, but his parents managed to keep them afloat. Then when he met Elon he moved into a separate apartment that Elon paid for. He struggled a lot to pay for it after they broke up. He’s very familiar with what it’s like to struggle and he does not want to go back to that.

Whiteley Foster

I felt Mansa's stress studder. 😭

Spatz

oh... in Song's mind nothing changed, and the only bad thing that happened yesterday was his encounter with Elon and getting awfully drunk and embarrassing Mansa, so I understand his reaction completely, especially taking into consideration that money is always a very-very difficult topic to talk about, I would probably react the same myself 😬😔 and you managed to show Mansa's stress so perfectly only through his words and stutter, wow 💔

sick_pineapple

His sister (Harmony) is his only sibling. Infernal education is very lacking because they only learn human history by law, no conjuring, or even lessons that would get them proper human jobs. The idea is to keep them from socially advancing, however there are chosen infernals that live with the celestial scholars and do get to preform magic for religious purposes (they’re mostly in the main book!)

Whiteley Foster

Pre-Mansa what has Song’s relationship with money and hardship been?

Caren

Also, as someone that is neurodegenerative, I can sometimes forget that the person I am mad at doesn’t have the whole story, so this is a little too relatable...

Jenna Pateman

Same questions as yesterday, just for Song this time What was Song’s favourite subject at school? Did he go to school? Who was Song’s first for things, and has he only been with humans? Any one night stands?

Jenna Pateman

Does he have any other sibling apart from Melody? What is his formal education (or Infernal education in general)?
