Just some quick updates for us, so let's dive in!
QFI:ROEHM TO RUIN
We're still recording and editing voice files, but it's getting closer! When these are all done, we're going to have to test the game a bunch to make sure there's no bugs and all the voice files go with the correct lines! Yay! Tedious, but hey, it makes for a fun game - honestly, for me, half the fun is hearing some of this crazy dialogue performed by people who are having a fun time doing it. There's a couple zany characters who I just love and it's funny to hear them speak. The game is smaller than QFI, for sure, but it's a lot of fun and I think you will enjoy it. Working on this game REALLY makes me want to make a QFI 2 and I do think in the future, we'll do it. Who knows. We started IQ and QFI after I got my kidney transplant in 2011... I decided to take the chance when I got a new lease on life. Maybe if I get another transplant, I'll rally and make QFI2 to celebrate.

As far as "fun stuff" goes, the manual for QFI:Roehm to Ruin, Shawn Mills designed as an homage to Sierra's 10th anniversary catalog... and frankly, I think it's awesome. We love designing retro stuff like this - the adventure games were always about the ancillary stuff you'd get in the box, and as we've discovered - producing boxes and physical stuff is not well in our scope - but we can make digital versions!

I've included a draft of the PDF with this post, if you wanna take a look. The final version may vary slightly and there may be some changes, but it's fun to look at.
ORDER OF THE THORNE: FORTRESS OF FIRE
Things are pretty much the same here; just plugging the basics in the engine. Things are kind of boring in this stage - assembling the bones of a project is always kind of tedious, but when you start adding content is where it gets interesting. Broomie has written a bunch for this project, and it's exciting to see him flex those creative muscles. He's always been a very keen and insightful writer, so I am so happy to have him step up on this one and help the design. We've always had the large over arching story, but he's helping with details and puzzles and I've always loved collaboration in projects. Other people's talent always inspires me and pushes me to do better.

FROGSHEEN!
Frogsheen is still underway - hopefully soon implementing player choice and some alternate characters to play as! This one is going to be really fun, I can feel it. I get excited about it because it just feels like the old timey fun I long for personally. I think playing this with some friends on the Switch is going to be awesome.
