Today's episode might be a couple weeks early in terms of the holiday schedule, but I think it's better to already have this one bouncing around in your head when you gather for the holidays later this month.
Side note that I don't mention in the episode: I was born and raised about 20 miles from the setting of this story, but never once heard it told to by friends or family. I think it's a forgotten piece of Illinois history, and as an Illinois boy, I'm happy to give it a fresh chance to reach new ears.
