Final Anthology Thoughts

Hey folks!

Some thoughts on the Lore Anthology, and what's going on with it.

——————————

December Rewards

The month is running late, and the December Anthologies haven't shipped yet. This is due to a delay at my print facility, which is, in turn, probably due to the holiday rush. Ho ho ho and all that.

The moment they arrive, they'll be signed, packed up, and shipped out. I promise. In the meantime, keep yer pants on, Jimmy.

Final Anthologies

I changed over the reward information at the beginning of December 2016, but that means there are a bunch of supporters who have only paid one month (December 1st) at $10. Rest assured, once transactions are run on January 1st, I'll compile one final delivery list, and get those last copies out the door by mid-January.

After that, though, I can't sustain that reward. Thankfully, though, the Mystery Box looks to be a smash hit, and I can't wait to start making and shipping those!

Why No More Anthologies?

Here's the Patreon-only low-down: the Anthology reward has ended for two reasons, not one. First, yes, they're insanely time consuming to manage and fulfill. I think everyone agrees that I'm better off focusing on writing more Lore.

Second, though, and more private, is that I have a publishing project in the works that involves episode content. And publishers are really, really picky about competition. Even if that competition is just the author (me) giving away copies of the content elsewhere (Anthologies here).

I can't tell you more yet (my agent would probably not like what I've already said), but when I can, you'll be the first to know!

And that's it...until next time, keep a light on and lock the door!

Comments

You're podcast is so amazing, I bought your book collection and loved each one! I had to read a different book in between each to pace myself, and plan to do it again! Thank you for your hard work and details paint vivid scenes that last!

Shauna

Thank you for another awesome year of Lore

Corryn Hall

This podcast is worth the sponsorship regardless of the rewards. The episodes themselves are reward enough! I look forward to my regular dose of Lore.

Danielle Bickle

I'm very grateful for that!

Aaron Mahnke

Rest assured, the anthologies weren't the only reason I sponsored.
