2017-02-07 19:48:20 +0000 UTCThat opener was interesting, very similar to a story from my own childhood. About 25 years ago I lived in Japan on a military base. Often times my friends and I would wander off base for adventure. One day we were wandering through a forest, one we had frequented often to get to a local shop. We came across what appeared to be a dog about 50 ft ahead of us. As we got closer it turned toward us. I remember one of us yelled "What is that!??" it might have been me. All 5 of us screamed out and ran. We ran all the way back home. When we finally stopped and were able to catch our breath I asked the others what they saw. Most agreed that they couldn't exactly point out what it was but there was something wrong with its neck and head. I then told them what I saw. My memory of it has never changed and neither has my story which I've told numerous times, even today I see it clearly in my head. It was a dog with a human head. I remember laying awake that night. I thought to myself that since it was part canine, it would have a strong sense of smell and it could track me back home. I didn't get much sleep that night.
