Extra #1 - After Sunset

Hello, faithful Patreon supporters! Here's the first of many gifts, from me to you. Today, it's an extra episode of Lore. These "extra" episodes are single-story tales, are fully produced, and run an average of 4-6 minutes long. And they're just for you.

And if you love these little extras, spread the word!

Happy listening,

Aaron @ Lore

Same! Lol 9 years ago, am I too late?

Thanks so much!

So excited I can finally be a supporter! I love this podcast and look forward to it every other week! Time to binge listen to the extra episodes :)

Honestly, why do do many witches in these old stories demand people's souls as payment? Souls are such lousy currency, they NEVER hold their value, and they're hard as hell to flip for resale. Land and mineral rights and property bequests, THAT'S where it's at.

AutumnWillow

Love that you've included a story from my hometown of Monroe! We have a long history of lore surrounding the town - with a lot of it coaxed by Hannah Cranna and Ed and Lorraine Warren. Loved listening.

Cameron Breither

It's fascinating to think how people like this have existed in history and how their stories are told. There seems to be a sort of bewilderment for some of them, with less fanfare and more confusion about how some of these events unfolded. This one is particularly striking because she seems to have believed herself a witch, or at least clever enough to make sure the "legend" of it lived on beyond death. Very interesting, can't wait for more!

I love your podcast! I look forward to every new episode, and I recommend Lore to all my friends. Your voice adds life to your stories, and make them come to life. Keep up the great work Aaron!

Thanks for your support!

I had to listen to this one several times. We had a 'witch hunt' in our town a few years back for certain doctors so the mentality I can understand. Fear/respect

I love these beautiful little stories. Your voice gives them so much life. Keep doing what you're doing :)

I am honestly just as excited if not more to listen to each new episode of Lore than I am to watch my favorite tv shows. This stuff is pure gold. Rarely will you find a podcast that stimulates the mind as such. There is a deadly combination of beautiful music, compelling stories, and one of kind story telling by Mr. Mahnke.

Andrew Rudiger and Chad Novynka

Great story! I love all the creepy New England stories. I would love to visit the forest from "In the Woods"

When you mentioned in your podcast that you were going to be doing mini episodes for Patreon sponsors I knew I had to pay tribute. Having heard the mini episode I can say that it was well worth it. Thank you for the great podcast.
