Extra #5 - That Axman Jazz

Greetings, faithful listeners!

Now that the weekly episodes of October are a thing of the past, we're back into the normal routine. And that means, while the rest of the world will have to wait yet one more week for a new bit of Lore audio in their ears, YOU, my friends, get one TODAY.

I hope you love it!

1.) For you I'm happy you have found your passion...

Been waiting for an episode about be axeman. Actually thought covered mirrors was going to be it at first. Side note- the New Orleans newspaper is pronounced "pick-a-yune"

Christine Bruce

The creators of American Horror Story used this Axman character several years ago for their season titled Coven.Danny Huston played the Axman.I did not realize he was based on an actual person until I read a book called Into the Shadows and then again on Lore.I wish this particular episode had been longer because I was fascinated by it.Thank you for this fabulous program.

Thanks Nick! There isn't, not, and that sucks. And I'm actively looking for a better solution, but to date, I haven't found one that doesn't require asking people to copy/paste RSS addresses into podcast apps and log in with unique credentials. Paid content is still a mess right now, but I'm trying. Thanks for your patience!

Definitely my favorite podcast, scare myself before I go to bed every night. Quick question though, any maybe this is obvious and I'm just a tech noob, but is there a way I can download these extra episodes so I can put them on my mp3 player?

Christmas_Pie

This cast is one of a kind, I truly enjoy it and the transcripts are much more than expected, please keep it up :)

Jeff Byrd

Thanks so much!

Thanks David, and thanks for your support!

Thanks, John!

My home state does seem to have more than its fair share of axe murders! Thanks for another great extra episode.

John K.

Thanks so much for your kind words, Susan!

Aaron Mahnke

Aaron, I look forward to your podcast more then any other. The writing, the research and the delivery are excellent in their sublime presentation. I live in Ct and local lore is all around. It's nice that you are keeping folklore alive. With appreciation, Susan L.

Thanks so much, Rachel! That means a lot :)

Aaron Mahnke

I thought I knew that story, and you had a great twist! Great job, Aaron! (Also, really enjoying reading CONSUMED, too.)

Rachel Caine

Hey Joe, Thanks for supporting the show! At the moment, Patreon doesn't offer that feature. I'm working on another solution, but it would be outside the Patreon ecosystem. It's a trickier problem than it might seem, and I want to do it right.

Aaron Mahnke

I'm a new subscriber and I look forward to ask the extra content! Is there an RSS feed or something I could plug into my podcast app and listen there? I don't really wish to download these as mp3 files and listen to them in my music app.

Joey Protons

There's a jazz fan on the loose....:D you make me chuckle
