Extra #14 - Lost

Hello once again, faithful listeners!

Today's Lore Extra is favorite of mine. A little less "lore" and a little more "bizarre". Hopefully this will give your ears the treat they need to get you by until next week.

Also, next week's episode will mark one full year of Lore. I'm incredibly thankful for all of you who make this show possible, and I'm so glad you let me share these stories with you for the last 12 months. Here's to many, many more!

What is the song in this episode?

Justin Perryman

And there is a piece of history that I never knew. Thanks!

Jane Thorpe

Knowing what I know of Edison, it would not surprise me in the slightest if he had this gentleman "removed" and subsequently used the schematics from his luggage to start his own research later on.

Since being told about the Lore podcast, I have quickly consumed every episode. I love the background music, the presentation, and the preparation you put into every episode! Trevor ps- Edison was one of the last guys in the world I would've crossed. He totally looks like he could disappear you without losing sleep.

Trevor Hubbard

Yeah! The music is great!

Jenalina

This was very different, but I really liked it as well! Thanks for sharing!

Joseph Bartholomew

I love being able to support this content. Keep it up and here's to reaching for $10,000 a month this year!

Amanda Howe

Congratulations on making it to a full year! Listening to Lore is one of my greatest pleasures in an otherwise pretty average job - I've even gotten my best work friend into Lore so I have someone to discuss it with!

Meghann

Ah the more you learn ey! Oh and congratulations on almost reaching a year... almost. Just don't go 'Louis Le Prince' on us ;-) I think you should start mentioning what the music is in these

Vikash Tailor

Hmmm interesting, I love history mysteries!

Corryn Hall

Very interesting. I always learn something from your podcast

Vanessa Sellers

Once again, I shake my fist at Edison. >:[

Hi Doug, thanks for the note. And thanks for supporting the show. I'll try to give the audio a listen when I get a chance. Glad I can offer some inspiration for you. — Aaron
