Added 2025-06-07 11:16:04 +0000 UTCHey everyone! How are you all doing?
I wanted to give you a fresh update on my writing plans and share what’s been going on behind the scenes lately.
First off — one of the biggest things that took up most of my creative energy this past month was changing the plot of To Be Seen. It was a difficult decision, but one I’m really excited about. Time travel has always fascinated me, especially within the world of fanfiction, so I decided to finally lean into that. The story is now called Time Between Us, and while it still centers around Harry and Fleur, it now explores themes of second chances, fate, and the emotional weight of what we might do differently if we had the chance. Reworking the concept took time, but I believe the result will be much more compelling — and truer to what I want to share with you.
I still have plans to return to the other stories — but not just yet. I’ve realized that pushing forward without the right inspiration or structure only hurts the stories in the long run. When I do go back to them, it’ll be with clear direction and renewed energy.
That said, The Mind Burns Last and The Secrets of Avalon will continue, but they’ll be adapted into a new context. I was starting to feel creatively boxed in with both, so I’ve been discussing new ideas with my best friend (who’s also my beta reader), and we’ve been exploring a concept I’m really excited about: introducing Lovecraftian elements. Think deeper mythologies, unsettling mysteries, and an eerie atmosphere that slowly unfolds. These stories will be rebuilt around that framework, with new characters, new arcs, and a different tone — but the core spirit will remain.
Finally, I’m also planning to start exploring other universes and original fiction. This is a big creative step for me, and I want to build something meaningful — something that starts right here with this community. These original stories will be shared exclusively on Patreon, and I can’t wait to bring you into entirely new worlds.
As always, thank you so much for your support. I know things have shifted a bit lately, but everything I’m doing is with the goal of telling better stories — stories that last. I’ll continue to keep you updated as things progress, and I’m always here if you have questions or just want to chat.
Until next time,
The Writer
