2022-01-01 16:15:52 +0000 UTCThis is the first time Mansa is seeing this sort of thing; I doubt he knows that Song's emotions are so heavily tied to the power of his magic. His first reaction, after Song explaining how significant the amount of magic he has, is a great foil to what this Arch has been about. Mansa worries so much for Song's wellbeing, he know Song could get in A LOT of trouble, maybe even taken away. He just got his lovely infernal back and now he has another reason for feeling scared. At least he's not trying to grab Song's arm or anything else to try and get him to stop. I wouldn't say he's angry, with the mood of these last few pages. In shock, dumbfounded, but not angry. I'm sure he'll have plenty of time for angry in the next Arch.

How many times did we get a nasty side-eye when we got too emotional? Granted, it's not really illegal for us, but some people can makes us feel that way and it's understandable we are gonna lash out 🤷♀️
