I worked on this all day yesterday and I’m very pleased with how it turned out! I could mess with a realism portrait forever so eventually I just need to for myself to step away, but I’m happy with where it ended.
This piece is obviously based on Henri Lehmann’s Ophelia painted in 1848, which has some of most incredible eyes I’ve ever seen…
