Also, I don’t know what it is but something about his face at this age and in profile makes me think of a younger Alan Rickman, so that’s the voice I’ll always hear for him now!! ♥️ And I’ve been meaning to ask for awhile: Do you think you’ll ever draw an alternative life version of Algernon where he has his tail and uncut horns?? I’d love to see that!

2022-01-21 17:56:25 +0000 UTCMy impression of this picture is that Thomas has been fighting - perhaps a sword fight - and his horns have been revealed when his hair got messed up. So maybe this is the moment when his secret was discovered. He wears the golden coat of senior council members (or what they are called), but the man dressing him down is still his superior - probably that nasty old man that demoted Mansa in Bill 52. And I'm also guessing that the THIS he is referring to, is the reveal of those horns. Lastly, I'm also guessing that his assistant is - Mansa. Because we have seen hints of Mansa and Song being chased because of Song's magic, so I'm guessing that Mansa's career has been halted because of that, and that Mansa has never become one of the 'golden coats'. Did Thomas take Mansa on as his assistant to save him from getting fired or demoted or something? And the traces of fighting on Thomas' face - has he been defending Mansa or Song or another infernal, perhaps? This picture holds so incredibly much information and tells a story in itself....
