Aziraphale is outraged by the sooty footprints all over her prized carpets, and sparks are about to fly, when Crowley discovers that the cause of the blockage is a kitten trapped in the flue. The pair bond while cooing over the rescued fluffball.

Cause it’s clear she’s rather taken with this tall, beautiful smutty red head (literal coal smut folks, I’ll leave their future to your imagination 😉 ) Crowley clasps her hands in her own and gets coal all over them. Aziraphale offers her handkerchief and while her gaze is coyly lowered, Crowley slips a flower and her calling card in the folds of the lace edged square before handing it back, planting a kiss to the outside of Aziraphale’s hand as she does. A few days later, Crowley shows up at the townhouse, clean at the start of the days work and leaning against the pillar by the front door. The door opens… “Crowley! Good Morning, you’re early!” “Hello Angel! Well it’s always easier to rise early when the sun shines so prettily. Let’s get to work!” 🥰❤️

She accidentally knocks the flue and sends soot all over Lady Gabriel who’s stopped in (uninvited) to visit her “dear friend” Lady Aziraphale. Enraged by the damage done to one of her magnificent dresses (yes, she likes the clothes!) Gabriel seizes Crowley and is about to strike her with her ornate walking stick, when Aziraphale’s parasol appears with all the dexterity of a dueling sword and blocks the blow! Crowley is smitten! The two get talking after Lady Gabriel storms off, probably share a drink of Aziraphale’s good sherry, and a bond for the ages is formed!
