2022-03-18 11:23:05 +0000 UTCThere are definitely others but in this country this one is pretty dominant, and there are other religions with the similar roots, like there are many Abrahamic religions. Atheism is not common since it’s the 1800s but I’d call mansa and atheist! The lines between religious history and real history are beginning to deepen in the kind of birth of science era, but there are still a lot of people who will die on the “evolution isn’t real!” hill 😬 They don’t teach religion in state schools unless you go to a religious school. I think Harmony and Song probably went to a religious school briefly, but it would have been because it was a better school rather than their parents wanted them to learn about religion.

2022-03-18 11:14:38 +0000 UTCare there any other major religions existing in their world? or are they all just slight variations of the same thing? or is there this only one religion, and you either believe it or you are an "atheist"? and what's it called? also, in a world where "magic" exists and is a normal part of everyone's life I always thought that there might be a very thin line between like religious history and history-history and like religious teachings and science-science, so do they clearly separate in their world as they do in ours (like, christian creationism and darvinism do, for example)? and is there a scientific explanation for infernal magic present at their time? do kids get tought about religion in schools on like mandatory basis? sorry, that's a lot of questions 😬😅
