First Hug 🥲

Iena has been crushing hardcore on an npc named Rin. Two games ago the party found a magic mechanical arm in the dungeon and Iena (who only had one thanks to a traumatic experience) had a breakdown and told everybody about her past. The first thing she did in our game yesterday was sit and carve all these monster teeth she’s been collecting making it into a necklace now that she has both arms. Then before going back to the dungeon she took it to the Rin, who gave my prickly girl a hug and when Iena couldn’t figure out what to do with physical affection Rin said “You have two arms… you can hug me now,” to which Iena replied with the comment above. And it was so fucking cute.
I still feel silly getting so into dnd but it just gets my creative ideas flowing every time!

I love writing for them, and I've commissioned some art with them. Anything that gets your creative juices flowing in a good way is a good thing. Keep drawing your great people!

2022-03-22 00:52:29 +0000 UTCthat is so cute! love when roleplay gets sweet like that, once my party had to flee a city so my character gave a little jade frog they’d been holding onto to an npc they had a thing with and it made the dm cry haha, and when the party returned the npc had put the frog on a necklace and it nearly made me cry! gotta love dnd

I make playlists, think about their futures in my offtime, and even just cry about them sometimes completely away from sessions. It‘s hard not to get attached to these characters you act as and experience so much stuff with over a period of time.
