I do fear, as others have indicated, that he’ll take the joy out of Mansa’s newfound friendship by trying to make him a spy although, while he’s certainly toxic, would he be that scheming? Maybe, hope not. Now we all know our sweet, honest boi couldn’t be a double agent, he’d hate that. If it goes that way, perhaps he’ll use that as a springboard towards leaving for a career swap. In which case, Charles will have helped him indirectly and send him towards a career where he can dedicate himself to the promotion and acceptance of laws meaning a fairer life for infernals and humans. A nice twist!
