Whole story: Our party has to decide between letting the BBEG take a really terrible member of the town to spare the rest of the city, and saving him and having to fight the BBEG and risk him destroying the city anyways. And this guy that the BBEG wants sucks, he’s just an all around awful human, total asshole. BUT when Iena asked Rin what she thought Rin told her that she needs to save Carmen… and that her opinion of Iena would 100% change if she turned this jerk over… 😫

In a game we played several years ago, our paladin admitted to the villain that he'd sabotaged their house because he was asked directly, "who would do that?" and couldn't lie about it.
