Elon is used to being the one in power so most of his manipulation has been cold and curt, but as he’s genuinely startled right now, I could see him lashing out and saying something like “WTF is wrong with you?!? Throwing power around without training?! You *absolutely* will go to prison for this! Does Mansa know you’re the world’s greatest liability ever?” And that’d cause a lot of damage to Song based purely on the fact that it’s true. I think Song struggles the most when Elon pokes at his existing insecurities, rather than obvious lies, and to brush away the significance of Songs powers would be an obvious lie (and it’s also not what Song is vulnerable about). Of course, Elon has many other options here but they pretty much all require quick thinking in an unprecedented situation and I just don’t think Elon’s that kind of smart

If we're making bad decisions, that would at least get rid of one problem. He could use it to twist the knife of Song's unworthiness as Mansa's husband but he could flatter him up, saying he understands as Mansa never could. (Which wouldn't work, cuz Mansa knows, but Elon doesn't know that.) It depends on how he wants to use Song, an infernal no one knows about with substantial magic, going forward. How close does he want to keep him?

But he’s going to tell Song that if anyone knows - which he’ll probably cast as “When (not if) you lose control” not “When I bust you” - then Mansa will be disgraced, fired, cast out for protecting an illegal inf. He knows Song will do ANYTHING to protect Mansa, even leave.
