But later it seems like he plans to never come back because he's hurt Mansa too badly? Does something happen to cause this change or is it just wisdom coming with time?

2022-07-28 12:13:26 +0000 UTCI totally understand where his "future" decision comes from, but AAAHHHH, THE HEART BREAK IS REAL, this time around MUCH more than in the last version 😭💔 and seeing him try to fight the thoughts REALLY leaves my stupid heart hoping even "knowing" how it "ends" 😔💔 but at the same time, I do so love the idea of Song focusing on himself and having this journey of self-exploration and growth and everything, so to say, I really love your idea for the plot that follows, though it does hurt both of them SO MUCH ❤️

And this go round he probably knows better how this will hurt Mansa which probably just adds to the guilt and helps keep him away until he has to come back. I know he knows Mansa believes him to be worthy just as he is, but sadly that doesn't mean he is capable of believing it himself yet poor guy 😣
