The Future of this Patreon

First of all, I wanted to thank everyone who has contributed to this Patreon, and those who follow me on Instagram, where I almost have 500 Followers, something I NEVER imagined I could do!

Now, as you guys know, I've been slowly working on my projects this year, and they all have developed a considerable amount, Hot Salsa is competing in Ideatoon, Honey Tale is 1/4th finished and Trash Clash became Trash Thieves for a future Ideatoon!

What do I want to do next? Well, I'm trying to organize myself little by little.

I'm waiting for mid May so I can know if Ideatoon selects Hot Salsa, cause that's a drastic event that could change my entire career if I use the opportunity correctly.

Things I want to do? I want to continue Youtube, I want to talk about various topics, tutorials about design and ideas and live streams. The problem? Work, I don't have a room either. I'm making one of my next goals to save up for a Mic.

If Hot Salsa goes on Ideatoon I want to remain independent, and make the Hot Salsa I WANT, not the one someone purchases. I will start my own studio soon.

HoneyTale? Im working on it, just it's so overwhelming, the sudden rise in followers, making merch for Hot Salsa for my table in Bazart in August. Yikes, even one page per week is crazy sometimes. It's still my side project so Hot Salsa goes above it in priority.

Work is also taking a toll on me, I work in my dad's hardware store and carrying block and cement is really making me get home fatigued but I've been fighting it off because I have a dream to reach, but I'm so so tired everyday. But working hard and grinding will get me there I hope.

Anyway, Youtube, Hot Salsa Merch, Ideatoon, Studio, HoneyTale. It's just crazy how busy I am jumping from one thing to another each day. I want to start producing more interactive content too, start telling stories. Im itching for it. Also, the initial reason I made a Patreon is because I wanted to make artbooks of my ideas, and I'm thinking of making a Hot Salsa artbook, from the first drawings to the pitch bible art. The problem is the original Hot Salsa art is in Los Angeles and I don't have the money to travel right now! But hopefully I can retrieve my old art sometime and prepare a little special book.

Comments

Ah, thank you so much you are far too kind! I will try to see if there is a way to, it's just I have a mountain of sketchbooks filled with Hot Salsa stuff jajaja!

Hey man I've been pretty busy lately but I finally got a chance to check out patreon again:) keep working on HotSalsa more often. Dont worry about HoneyTale too much we understand where you're coming from. Work is tough especially hardworking like carrying cement blocks. Speaking of HotSalsa's artwork being in LA, if you want you can message me and I can try to ship it to you somehow :)
