I loved playing this character, he’s so good and wants to do good for others, but he’s got so many skeletons in his closet and he’s so flawed.
It’s really not about him being unfaithful, she couldn’t care less about her husband and if he’s out with other people she doesn’t have to see him. It’s that (A) they’re below his station and (B) he’s spending money that she would otherwise get.
I did several, ahem, mature drawings of Haxton with gentleman escorts if you don’t remember or would like a second look! I believe I tagged them RPG and NSFW!

That story is so interesting! I love how flawed he is and she is clearly the worst. But Alister is so loveable, even though he also did wrong. It's great!
