He preferred to become a judge instead of an enforcer, a job that most likely requires to get physical in some situations. Plus a childhood full of being lowkey beat up by his siblings (with no help from his parents in sight) didn’t help either to make Mansa fond of immediately throwing a punch. But the things Elon just said sure crossed a like for Mansa.

Thomas does have his flaws but he does seem to care for Mansa and their friendship, in his own weird way.

So either challenge to a duel (military training) or slander suit (judge training). Either way, the cop is going to connect Song to the exploded building and the dead men, so THAT is what does for Mansa’s gold coat.
