2022-11-07 17:52:54 +0000 UTCSong only told Mansa that he had an ex that convinced him to run hexes. He told Mansa at the end of the courtesan. Mansa doesn’t know that Elon is said ex. And according to Whiteley he won’t find out until later in the story. I don’t know if Mansa picked up on the calling Song entitled thing. Elon did just call Song a whore so Mansa might have been to mad to notice and now Charles is interrupting the whole thing. And I don’t think the evidence is against Elon. It’s most likely against Song. They connected an infernal named Song to the two dead bodies found in the bank thanks to the medallion Song lost. It had his name on it after all. And now Elon is accusing Song of attacking him. To the enforcers it probably looks like Song is an dangerous individual who attacks innocent humans in the dead of night. Charles is suspicious of Elon at best. But right now Song look like the bad guy. A downright criminal. The best we can hope for is for Georgia to notice the color of the magic isn’t Songs and speak up about it.

They connected these two dead bodies to some infernal called Song. And in comes Elon, saying that he was attacked by an Infernal called Song. To the police Song looks like a dangerous criminal right now.

Is this his first time becoming aware that he exists, or does he know that he has any prior connection to Song, romantic or otherwise? Elon calling Song entitled seems to make it clear that they know each other well, whether Elon means to imply that or not. Now Mansa must be cottoning on that Elon knows Song not just by sight as his partner, but well enough to try to badmouth him and comment on his behavior. I know Elon just made up a story about Song trying to repeatedly sell him drugs while he’s innocently praying all day or whatever, but does anyone in this room other than Georgie have enough dots to connect? Charles knows he attacked an anonymous infernal and got away with it. Now, Elon’s connected to a second incident of apparently random violence with an apparently random infernal. Oh shit, is that why he asked for the file? That it’s not just Song’s name that’s ringing a bell, but Elon’s history of violence as well?

I really hope Georgie speaks up about Elon lying about who attacked him. But I fear that Elon will get away with it and that Georgia will confront him personally. But I will still pray for the first option. Also what is Mansa’s and Songs favourite movie genre? (Or would be idk if movies are a thing during the time the story takes place) And what kind of movies do they like to watch together?
