One of the things that surprised him most once he and Etty were married is that she wakes him from his nightmares, holds him close, and runs her hands through his hair and along his back until he’s at ease enough to go back to sleep.

2023-08-19 11:25:21 +0000 UTCAfter all the emotions in his eyes in the last panel it's heard to see him so closed off now 😭 She's fiercely protective of him and will back him up despite her not being very intimidating. He's protective of her, but is more likely to back her up quietly and discredit anyone who threatens her. I think Etty discovering his secret makes them very close, having someone he can confide in does him good and I think she thrives with someone to look out for, she seems like a good person to have on your side
