2023-11-19 15:20:17 +0000 UTCi feel like it's both. i tend to see their relationship as a QPR, and those can sometimes have romantic elements to them as well, depending on the dynamic of those involved 😊 so i see their relationship being somewhat nebulous and maybe undefined, but very deep and connected. it's also not uncommon for QPRs to turn into marriages or being life partners! -ren

If so, did he reject it because he was so emotionally devastated he didn’t think he could do a good job, or because he was now associated with an infernal criminal and was afraid of what that association might do to his ambitions of work for helping the infernal community? Or both? Or some other reason? And if it was a different position he was offered at The Proposal, why did he reject the High Councillor position later? ….or will all this be discussed in future panels and I need to cool my over-excited heels? 😅❤️

2023-11-19 13:53:56 +0000 UTCAhhhhhhhh you nonchalant goblin ❤️ that innocent “Romance or marriage of convenience?” while lobbing that “Osei rejected the high councilor position” bomb in the background! 😂 I’m with mizz_uzie, I think it maybe started as perhaps a marriage of convenience to a dear friend for Etty, although maybe more of a romance for Thomas? Regardless, I bet Thomas was in the same position as Mansa when he got promoted, needed to find a spouse fast and Etty is the only one he can trust with his magic situation, and without Song Etty didn’t have the same access to high level circles that she’d had (plus I bet marriage gives her some protection from being pulled back into the church). But that hand clasp shows so much tenderness now ❤️❤️❤️
