[Witch TG] Noah's Spark - Epilogue

Epilogue - Nadine

Nadine had never felt so comfortable in her entire life; her limbs were like warm honey half melting into the bed and the body next to her. A soft smile flickered across her face as she remembered the night before; she’d had sex a few times in her life but never made love. She wasn't sure she was ready to say ‘I love you’ to Adeline yet, they had only just started to date after all, but already she could tell there was something different about this relationship.

Her mind slowly floated up out of the sleepy haze and her eyes flew open, remembering what she’d done to those men. Suddenly she was wide awake and sitting up in bed so suddenly she started Adeline.

“Hnnn, come back to sleeeeeep.” She murmured. “S’too early.”

“Adeline! The clothes!”

“Wha? What about them?” She muttered, sitting up and rubbing her eyes, eyeing the pile of clothes at the foot of the bed.

“Those men! We transformed them, oh my gosh the tea! The tea took away all our inhibitions and I…oh man, what does that say about me? That I did that?”

“Hey, calm down.” Adeline yawned with a lazy smile. “We’ll change them all back and have their memories changed, standard procedure for this sort of thing. They’d only been gone an afternoon, they’ll probably make it look like they went on a bender or something.”

“But…is that wrong? What if-”

“Darling,” Adeline silenced her with a kiss, “you worry too much.”

“I feel like you don’t worry enough.”

“Well then, between us is the exact right amount of worry and we’re fine.” Adeline replied, leaning over and laying a kiss on Nadine’s shoulder.

“S-stop distracting me!”

“Stop getting distracted.”

The two of them burst into laughter. It was so hard to believe Adeline was the same asshole Anton she’d met on her first day here. Actually, no it wasn't, she just understood her better now.

“Look, even under that inhibition loosening tea, you only transformed some sexist assholes. I’d say that’s pretty good.”

That was a good point and did comfort Nadine somewhat. Still, she felt a little odd getting up and dressing herself knowing the pair of panties on her floor could not only see her but were sentient and probably getting off on watching. Adeline seemed to revel in it, taking her sweet time getting redressed and doing it in the most seductive manner possible. Bending over and leaning in such a way that her butt and breasts were shown off. Nadine didn't even realise she was staring until Adeline winked at her.

“So…are we straight or lesbians?” Nadine asked as they finished gathering and folding yesterday's transformation victims. “Because, we both like girls but we weren’t originally girls, so our sexual preferences stayed the same so…which is it?”

Adeline just smiled and shook her head in disbelief.

“You get so hung up on the minutiae of everything.”

“I’m sorry, did you just use the word ‘minutiae’?”

“What? I am actually quite smart, if you'd even seen my transcripts you’d be pleasantly surprised.”

“I…honestly thought you were just coasting on the Altenbach name.”

Adeline looked at first hurt but then shrugged.

“Honestly, I can't blame you, most people think that.”

“Well, I don't want to be most people.” Nadine said seriously, “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t still be making assumptions like that.”

Adeline just gave her shoulder a squeeze.

“It just means we get to enjoy getting to know each other more genuinely now…as girlfriends?”

The last two words were added almost nervously, it was actually cute to see that despite all the confidence and bravado Adeline could still be as anxious as anybody about the start of a new relationship. There was still some guilt swirling around in Nadine’s stomach from what they’d done yesterday; she still wasn't sure about the odd set of ethics the magical world seemed to live by.

But like it or not, she was part of this world now and it would be a lot lonelier and less fun without Adeline at her side. So she smiled and kissed her on the cheek.

“Girlfriends.” She confirmed.

The sweet atmosphere was shattered a moment later with a heavy knock at the door.

“Adeline! Nadine! Open up! What is this I hear about breaking Nadine’s campus rules and transforming over a dozen mundane civilians!?”

The headmistress, they both shared nervous smiles.

“Come in.” Nadine called, threading her fingers through Adelines and preparing for the tongue lashing of a lifetime.

As always though, she was surprised by just how relaxed the punishment system in the magical world was. Not that the headmistress wasn’t angry, oh no, she was positively fuming.

“Do you have any idea how much it will cost to pay a dozen Mind Changers to fix this?” She yelled. “It will be coming out of your pockets!”

They both bowed their heads low and put on faces of guilt until finally, she was done and ordered them both to stay on campus for the rest of the semester before storming out, their clothing victims in hand.

“Don’t worry, mother will pay for the Mind Changers.” Adeline insisted.

“Won’t she be pissed?”

“Are you kissing?” Adeline giggled, opening up her phone and dialling her mother’s number. “She’ll think this is hilarious.”

Nadine just shook her head, still in wonder at the strange world she’d found herself in. Her life as a mundane man seemed like it was a lifetime ago, not just a few months. Still, as she levitated her hair brushed over to her and began working out the knots in her beautiful dark hair. It might not be the life she’d chosen but with Adeline at her side she was sure happiness would never be far away.

Comments

It was a fun one to write! It may not be realistic but I am a sucker for enemies to lovers

The Spiralled Eye

Excellent story. Lots of fun ideas reminiscent of Harry Potter and extremely well executed.
