so I figured it would be good to talk about 2024. The main project of this year was Corporate Training 2. I am fairly happy with how it turned out from technical side, with the lighting and rendering. I was also able to incorporate more reference from voice actresses which helped a lot with animation, but on that later.
I was a bit surprised with how some of my artistic decisions became controversial. From what I understand, people found the Bimbo character unlikeable and were also disappointed that she never became properly 'rigid'. Also that she didn't flip the script in the end like in CT1.
All of these were on purpose, I wanted the bimbo to be somewhat annoying for the satisfaction of Rebecca dominating her. I also wanted Rebecca to be the proper boss this time, so she can show her 'true power' 😅. And I wanted the bimbo to be really huge, but not overshadow Rebecca, so I thought her staying soft would be a fun compromise and I really liked the visual.
Some of you however disagreed with (some of) these choices and it brings me to a question if I should listen to the majority more or just keep doing what I feel like. I'd say it's very important for me to be interested in the project, which means doing new things and often time going against the grain. But I also don't want to annoy fans and be contrarian just for the sake of it.
I am interested in your opinion, maybe in the future I could keep the bigger projects more 'mainstream' (if there is such thing for a futa artist lol) and do the 'weirder' stuff in smaller project?
Another thing is that every time I rewatch older project, I find issues with the animation. I sometimes genuinely cringe and think 'oof that could have used a bit more work'. To combat this I decided to watch my animations more before rendering and leave more time for adjustments. Every day before I start working I try to rewatch everything I animated so far and try to adjust things while they still can be touched up, I am hoping it will improve my works for the future.
I am also trying to focus more on quality than quantity. In the short term this will affect my output, but I am hoping it will improve my animation.
This year I also took part in several animation challenges, which are like the opposite of that, focusing on doing something as fast as possible, which I think is a nice change of pace and challenge, also possibility to focus on one aspect of the work.
Overall, I think I could have done better, but I also think I am identifying my issues and working on them and I am optimistic about upcoming year and I am excited to work on new projects and I wish everyone successful new year!

I would say exactly the same. I'm in that group of not into the bimbo-vibe or lack of rigidity, but the size difference was a perfect element. When I saw it flop out I was like, "yep that makes sense!" But continue to be true to your art and what you want to do!

It's not poorly animated it's just not my fetish. But then CT2 was right up my alley. Can't make everyone happy all the time, so the best thing to do is to just be yourself.

The kind of art/projects you want to do and in the way you want to do them will be more beneficial to you in many small ways more than trying to cater to those who want to dictate art but not pay commissions.

I loved her bitchy attitude & voice. I'll admit the floppiness did nothing for me & I would of loved to it become harder more often but it didn't distract that much as she wasn't doing the fucking. It did seem like you got maybe a little carried away with animating that big ol' snake swinging around for awhile lol I found it quite amusing & added to that particular scene or two. In a way what you did with it being not hard is more more true to life (e.g. 75% of the time they ain't hard in trans porn). But maybe that's just it, people come here for the fantasy and they like rock hard dickles. Personally I feel like you do you, it's still hot regardless to me. Or maybe incorporate it into the narrative if we get to see more of Bimbo, she notices she's getting harder gradually & hates she's getting hard.

2025-01-03 01:19:18 +0000 UTCI had/have a bit of a time enjoying CT2. I find it difficult to accept Rebecca, a self-made woman, accepting someone that oozes entitlement and clear disrespect. This personality mix and the wet noodle shows someone willing to do anything to get what she 'deserves' but derives no joy from it. This could be seen as more disrespect towards Rebecca. And certainly a shallow character. This along with the horrible spoken personality (no offence to the actor) makes this difficult to tolerate. There are plenty of ways to make someone unlikeable. Nails on a chalk board is what was offered. I was really hopping Hanna would barge in and toss the interloper out the office. Through the window would be my preference. Rebecca is a great character. I loved her dialogue in CT2. Hat tip to the voice actor. She is clearly a natural Dom. Someone that gets the better of her without the vengeful spirit (Hana I'm looking at you) would be wonderful to see.

Whenever artists put out polls, the choices that win are the things the artist has done already. Whenever artists open up commissions, people only commission more of the same characters/poses that the artist has already animated. Very rarely do people up and say "I want something completely new, something never been done before." What we as a NSFW community need to do is to start trusting artists' artistic vision. You never know if the next thing you cook up will be the thing that people regard as your best work in the future

I don't know where the backlash is coming from. Is it from Twitter? Forum comments? Discord? (I'm not sure if you have a Discord) With anything I think the haters are gonna be louder than the people who appreciate your work, which is why I try to type up my appreciation whenever i have time. What I'm trying to say here is I don't think we have empirical evidence to prove that these people are indeed a "majority" as you say. Even if they are, I say, don't listen to them. I'm not just saying that under the bias that my taste align with your works. When artists work on things they don't enjoy or are not interested in, that leads to burnout, which leads to animations being left unfinished. We can't let that happen to an artist as talented as you.

Otherwise, compromising your art to please the most people, almost never works out in the long term. But you can try here and there. Still a big fan here.

Plus if the roles were flipped it would have made Rebecca look more of a push over. Maybe go giving the bimbo a new scenario where she is the dominant would be better. Plus the bimbo with the larger penis was a very nice touch!

Id say keep doing what you want to do and if time permits it maybe do a super short couple seconds animation that also appeals to the fans afterwards.

I enjoy it when creators do new and weird things. If I wanted to watch "mainstream" porn, I wouldn't be subscribed to a channel that does purely futanari content.
