So here it is, my first animation with Marvel: Rivals models. I went with Emma Frost and Squirrel Girl, they are fan favorite for a reason. I really like the contrast between the cold hard Emma and squishy warm SG.
The main point of this animation however was to finally make something in eevee I could be proud of and I succeeded, I am really happy with how the lighting turned out.
BTW if you wondering what is eevee, basically in blender you make the animation and then you have to render - compute every frame with lighting and everything. Normally I use cycles, which is ray-tracing, physically based rendered. This produces photorealistic results (in the sense that the light behaves as it would in real life) however it takes a lot of time to render. I have a 4080 and it takes me around 2-3 minutes for one frame.
Alternative is eevee, which is based on more of a video game approach where the light etc. is approximated in various ways and it usually looks a bit worse. However the upside is the speed, for this animation I needed only 10 second per frame. And if you know what you are doing, you can make eevee look really really good.
