Barbara’s Growing Concern

Once again, Karen was trying to fix her suit — the one meant to make her grow giant. But as Barbara approached the battery powering the device, it suddenly released a burst of energy the moment she touched it.
Fortunately, it was more frightening than harmful. Karen, frustrated, had to admit that her experiment had failed yet again.
Back home, Barbara felt unusually hungry. She practically devoured everything left in the fridge, much to her father’s surprise. But that was only the beginning…
The next morning, Jim got up early for work. Since his daughter had the weekend off, he decided to let her sleep in and didn’t disturb her.
But as soon as Barbara opened her eyes, she noticed something was wrong — she had grown. And the moment she sat up in a panic, it happened again: another growth spurt. She kept growing and growing, until she filled nearly her entire room. Furniture broke beneath her, walls started to crack… she was literally trapped in her own bedroom.
At least, for now. Because if she kept growing like this, it wouldn't be long before her size burst right through the roof…
