This update is focused entirely on the long-awaited Dorm 7 and its inhabitants, Io Ichimonji and Uta Ushibori! You must be caught up with the main events in the game in order to unlock them. Their room will become available after finishing their main event chain.

2021-01-16 05:07:05 +0000 UTCExtracting newer versions into the older versions is not the proper way to install the game and could risk damaging it. All you need to do is extract the file into its own folder and it will automatically transfer the saves stored in appdata/RenPy/Test2. The game's internal save folder is more of a backup than a priority for loading.

2021-01-16 02:49:14 +0000 UTCI think there's a problem with the Mac file. I tried Mega and the mirror and neither are readable after completing the download. The Google drive one is not available.

So far I've just extracted the newer versions into the older versions folder and that has transferred the saves, but it is getting tedious digging through 8+ folders to reach the most recent version.
