TO INSTALL THE UPDATE PATCH:
1) Unpack/extract content into your current Lessons in Love folder and hit "Yes" to replacing all files with the same name.

MESSAGE FOR ALL MOBILE PLAYERS
Lessons in Love is now too big for some Android devices. If you have issues installing the game, you may need to use an emulator program like JoiPlay or force install the game using ADB commands. Instructions on how to do both of these things are pinned in the #TECH-SUPPORT channel of the Lessons in Love Discord.

I don't understand how your computer would get rid of all the old images unless you're manually removing them all. All it should after you move the files over is just ask you if it's okay to replace the existing ones with the same name.
