fyi EXO is THE biggest kpop group in the world. They just dont promote in the West. Their est. net worth is US$1Billion, worth more than BTS and Blackpink combined. They have consistently put out bangers on bangers of albums and they have an insanely wide and loyal fanbase all around the world. The reason you’re not familiar with Exo cos their idiot agency gatekeeps them and doesnt promote them for anything Billboard iTunes etc. many countries around the world and exo fanbase also dont use spotify or youtube, so dont be fooled by the seemingly lower streams that Exo have in comparison to more popular groups. Also, their success is even more insane given the fact that they achieved this insane level even before korean dramas and kpop became mainstream in the west. Their china fanbase alone is crazy - anything exo does goes number 1 in China, to put into perspective just 1 platform like QQ music has more users than all spotify users worldwide. And that’s just one platform. Theyre still currently also the top most streamed artist of all time in South Korea, beating BTS and Blackpink by a huge margin.
