Panzermuseum Visit: Your Ideas, Questions, etc.
Added 2025-07-25 08:44:11 +0000 UTCIn early September I will be 3 days at the Panzermuseum Munster. I will be joined by Tobias (former Leopard 2 gunner) and a Canadian friend (no military background). I likely will meet with the director of the Panzermuseum Ralf Raths as well.
Feel free to post below your topics, questions, suggestions about tanks in general, specific tanks, specific people, etc.
Ideally in this format: 1) question/topic/suggestion including name of the person vehicle if that matters, 2) etc., 3)... this makes it way easier for printing out.
Examples: 1) Tiger I: question X, 2) Tobias: question Y, 3) Panther & Ralf: question Z...
Also if you are not sure, it is better a few questions/suggestions too much, because even if I/we don't answer them, they might inspire others. As always I can't guarantee anything.

Ich verstehe die Frage(n) nicht wirklich, hab einen Freund gefragt und ihm geht es ähnlich. Bei den Zahlen wäre es auch hilfreich zu wissen, welche Zahlen genau, da es oft verschiedene gibt.

2025-08-12 18:59:25 +0000 UTCSind die Zahlen zu Panzer Verlusten und Verlusten generell der Nazis gegen die Sowjetunion auf beiden Seiten akkurat? Wenn nur auf sowjetischer Seite nicht, wie ist es möglich, dass bei allen großen Schlachten die Diskrepanz so stark war, obwohl im Krieg nur doppelt so viele sowjetische Soldaten wie die deutschen starben? Wie ist das möglich wenn 3 Millionen Gefangene von 1941 gestorben sind und es sehr große Verluste im ersten Jahr des Krieges gab?

Even the non-running ones must need cleaning or paint touch-up once in a while If some vehicles are in running condition, do they follow original manufacturer maintenance procedures, or have they improved procedures or materials, such as better lubricants?
