Serious delays... trying to fix my computer

The last 3 days I spent trying to get my computer running.

My plan was to finish Tuesday's (today) video on Sunday, since I was on a metal festival with a friend and the video was mostly done...

On Sunday morning my computer wouldn't boot anymore, the power on self test (POST) showed the CPU and RAM lights blinking, this happened before, but this time I couldn't turn off the computer anymore with the power button and also manually cutting the power didn't change anything. So I assumed that the motherboard (others reported similar issues with no solution) was finally gone.
So, I ordered a new and better one from amazon with urgent delivery, that arrived on Monday afternoon. I had removed the old one before and watched a lot of videos etc. Nevertheless it took me hours to install that thing and connect all those cables...

I start it and the RAM light goes on... tried all combinations, CMOS cleared, etc.

Today, Tuesday I went to the local repair shop, they tried new RAM, no chance. I also disconnected the GPU just in case.

Then I called ASUS support, they notified me that the RAM I have was not on the QVL (qualified vendor list), although I should add, the "intel" version of my RAM was, the "AMD" version was not, also major brand Corsair. So likely not the issue.

Not sure, what I should do, I consulted with a friend, he noted getting a new set of RAM from the QVL is probably the easiest bet. So I spent 100 bucks, travelled to the next major seller and got back. Well, didn't work, I also disconnected all the hard drives and SSD drives as well, just to be sure... nope.
Apparently there is also the issue that some CPUs/boards need to learn the new RAM, so leaving the PC on for 5-15 minutes should allow the learning, although only a few sources mention that, well, I got nothing to lose, tried it, so far to no avail.

I ordered a new motherboard, which should arrive tomorrow, because it might be faulty board after all. If not, it can technically only be the CPU, but that theoretically has its own light and should not set off the RAM light.

Meanwhile I should be preparing for my trip to the Panzermuseum. (which I partially have, e.g., reading in the train or taking notes yesterday while waiting for the new motherboard.)

Comments

I should clarify, the PC was from a company that specifically custom builds PCs and I got my previous one from them as well. No issues before. I got a spare motherboard from amazon due to fast delivery, since I assumed - wrongly - that the motherboard was the issue. This is actually the first real hardware problem I had with a PC in over 30+ years, since when I started in 1992/93(?) with a 386DX40 with 16 MB RAM. The problem also seems really odd, it seems likely to be a CPU issue that only affects some motherboards, but works sometimes with the original one... I hope they find the issue and can tell me exactly what the problem is.

Well that sucks. Personally I don't buy electronics from Amazon I use Newegg and have had only 1 piece of equipment (a Wi-Fi Router) fail in 15+ yrs of purchasing from them and I was able to return for a replacement/refund and I have built all my PCs and purchased laptops from them.

I feel for you. Try playing motorhead. Won't fix it but life is better with motorhead Also, if you plan to travel with the DB from your operating base, you're a braver man than me, which arguably ain't difficult. Yesterday's numbers were almost under 50% punctuality. And they define punctuality as arriving in the same moon phase. But you'll have plenty of reading time
