🌎 Downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia

Halifax was settled in 1749 by the British Government intending to set up a Garrison in the recently acquired Nova Scotia. The City is most famous for the 1917 Halifax Explosion which is the largest non-nuclear, man-made explosion, three times the size of the Beruit Lebenon Explosion. Halifax today is a very human scaled city with small streets and a compact downtown, it can be easy to forget how small the city is however. What we've Included is the Downtown, home to many historic buildings like St. Paul's Anglican Church (Canada's oldest Protestant Church), City Hall, The Province House of Nova Scotia (Canada's oldest legislative building), The Bank of Nova Scotia Building, and St. Mary's Catholic Church (First piece of Land owned by an Irish man in North America). It also includes landmarks like The Public Library, The Nova Centre, Citadel Hill, The Maritime Centre and the Queen's Marque.

🏠 McCallum Hill Centre, Regina

The McCallum Hill Centre, nicknamed by Regina residents as the Twin Towers, Are a pair of two building with Tower 1 completed in 1985 and Tower 2 completed in 1992. They are both 20 floors tall and 260m tall. Tower 1 is Regina's HSBC offices.  We have also decided to include the adjacent Mosaic Potash Tower which was built in 2013. Roughly the same height as the McCallum Hill Centre, it was intentionally designed to look similar to the McCallum Hill Centre. It also celebrates Regina's Potash industry, Potash is a natural fertilizer used all around the world.
