Evening everyone, thought I'd share some of the stuff I've been working on the last few days.

Been pretty unhappy lately with most of my work. I don't really talk on it much but it's frustrating. I was having an especially rough day a couple nights ago so I started trying to figure out somethings about the way I draw. Started with just trying to draw a face right. Took several attempts but got somewhere I was at least satisfied with. From their I started looking at some of the drawings of one of my favorite hentai mangakas Shiwasu no Okina. I really enjoy how realistic yet simplified his work looks and want to capture that same sort of thing for mine. I often depict the wrong things when it comes to proper anatomy and my work suffers for it I feel. I just focused on butts and legs for this and picked up somethings I'll try to keep in mind.

Some commission sketches. I like the framing of the first sketch but something about the pose of the dude against the lamp post is lacking.

Was commissioned to design a tree mimic. Here it is. Not much to say. It's a tree and it will eat your butthole.

I struggled making that doodle yesterday more than I should have. I just suck at doodling things with little to no effort. I'm too worried about this idea of "perfection" that plagues me constantly. After a bit I got something that I thought was ok enough and colored it. I didn't like how it balanced out in frame but I wasn't going to spend more time on something that was suppose to be a doodle either.

Lastly a Bang sketch I started yesterday that I wanted to color for practice. I got so caught up with making it look right I ran out of time before bed. No references used here. While I felt a little more confident I can really see my issues with proportions and perspective here.
I don't like talking about these sort of negative things but I think it's important to share struggles.
