This week’s devlog brings some exciting updates to the job system and a fully working authentication system for Members rewards. Let’s dive into what’s new in the development of Booty Hunter version 0.10!

This week, I started a full redesign of the Player Journal, focusing specifically on the Crew screen.
The original layout was way too limited and couldn’t support the new job system being implemented, so it’s being rebuilt from the ground up to allow more detailed information, visuals, and management features for your crew members.
The new interface will display job assignments, traits, stats, and other future elements more clearly.

I’ve officially completed the implementation of the new authentication and reward system using my own API.
Here’s how it works:
Patreon supporters log into the Booty Hunter website.
They generate a unique key linked to their email address.
Inside the game, they input the same email + key to unlock exclusive rewards.
This system is already working flawlessly in-game — making it easier and safer for supporters to receive their benefits.
Next week, my main goal is to finish the new Crew Job System.
There will be five initial jobs available:
🗡️ Hunting (replacing the old combat role)
🧭 Navigation
🍳 Cooking
🎣 Fishing
🛠️ Crafting
Each girl will have unique traits related to jobs, which provide advantages when assigned to certain tasks.
For example, Nami already has the Navigation trait but can eventually gain the Cooking trait too.
Traits can be unlocked or upgraded, giving players more flexibility and personality when building their crew.
I’m still exploring different ideas to expand this system even further. I’ll share more insights and updates in next week’s devlog!
