🍻 Booty Hunter – Devlog #7 – Weekly Update (Bar Minigame Prototype & Level System Changes)

Hey guys!
This week, I worked on a prototype of the new "Work at Bar" minigame, and I also want to take some time to clarify how the new level system for crew members works — especially now that jobs are such a big part of the game.

📊 Crew Level System – Explained

Previously, every girl had just one level bar, which increased mainly through ero interactions.
That still exists — and is now referred to as their Base Level.

However, each girl now also has individual experience bars for each job:

• Hunting

• Fishing

• Crafting

• Cooking

• Navigation

Here’s the difference:

• The Base Level still determines requirements for things like outfits and quests.

• The Job Levels are purely tied to performance in their roles.

  • Example: a higher Fishing Level will help a girl catch fish faster and find rarer ones more easily.

This gives more depth to each girl’s progression and allows you to specialize them in certain areas without affecting general progression like outfits or quests.

🍺 "Work at Bar" Minigame – Prototype Phase

I’ve started building a completely new version of the “Work at Bar” minigame. Right now, it’s still in prototype phase, but the goal is to make it much easier and more fun to play than the original.

Here’s what I’m aiming for:

• The bar starts with a small number of tables

• Over time, you’ll be able to upgrade and add more tables

• Each table will go through four stages:

  • Waiting (empty table)

  • Customer arrives and places an order

  • Order gets served

  • Reset and repeat

Eventually, I plan to let you assign girls to help serve tables automatically, which should make things more strategic and dynamic.

Right now, the system is still early and I don’t have too many mechanics locked in.
But by next devlog, I should have more concrete details to share and show how things are shaping up.
