2024-07-14 06:39:14 +0000 UTCEdit: I will say, as to Woojin, as someone who came into SKZ during their ODDINARY era, I don't fully understand all of the hostility. I know something went down...and SKZ don't speak of it, or even hint at it really, except for 1 Channie's Room. I know it was painful for them, simply because they don't speak of it. But the IT has never actually been explained, it's just a bunch of he said/she said BS, and UNTIL they speak of it. I don't know if there are NDAs or what, I don't speculate to much upon it personally. But I do know that Korea and its Netizens come down HARD on any/everything. And I've yet to find anything concrete as to why he split from SKZ. I think they were all 'kids' (as I, an elder, view anyone under 30 as 'kids') and that if there was something nefarious, it'd have long since came out, with concrete proof. Having watched all of SKZ content since then, many, many times... In my opinion, I just don't think he fit in. I think he came to accept that fact much too late. I don't personally find him diabolical. I just don't think he fit in. I think he is a good vocalist/artist in his own right, but when it comes to SKZ and their concept, I think he too came to find out, this wasn't the team for him. And I think that there came a point when he realized and/or capitalized on that and he went his own way, and I have 0 doubt that it hurt the others on a personal level. After having gone through the Survival Show, Debut and everything else since... how could it not. I've checked out some of his solo work. "Still Dream" is fantastic...Even if you never react to it, it's a solid song. As an older person (I'm 44) I can distinctly remember all of the drama of my 20s, and I personally chalk it up to that. They ALL were just kids. They all had their egos, dreams and little inside dramas. I wasn't there. You weren't there. No Stay was there. And until any SKZ member speaks up, I'm going to take it at face value. Woojin left the group for personal reasons. He probably regrets it, frankly. But no SKZ seem to be pining for him so like... it's all a bit 'water under the bridge' to me. I am OT8 because that's all I've ever really known. And until proven otherwise, for me at least, Woojin IS that guy who used to be in the group, and he left. And that's that. /sorryforthelongessay lol

2024-07-14 03:18:05 +0000 UTCoh man, idk that I'm ready to watch the Survival Show again, but here we go haha. It's absolutely the BEST place to start. It's almost like a rite of passage into STAYVILLE. I'm excited/scared to watch it all again. It gives some good insight into what it takes to debut. Not train per se, but to debet. And it's so wonderful to watch any new group see their hard work come to fruition.

But when addressing the rumors, he tried to promote himself. So he’s not a horrible person but he handled the situation badly. However he does not seem to be on good terms with skz. They re-recorded EVERYTHING. Usually in kpop, if a member leaves, nothing get re-recorded and they may still mention the ex memeber. The way skz handle the situation show they don’t like each other any more.
