I appreciated the ‘collateral’ that you wrote in for the ‘loan’ of high-tier magical equipment, it seems like a good way to use the magical shop without violating the agreement. I’m surprised that using the magical floating platform didn’t give more of a headache to Greg, given his connection to the earth being so suddenly cut off caused him quite the trouble earlier! Whether that’s because he expected it, or because he’s a higher level mage now, is up in the air (ba dum tss). It also remains to be seen when Greg steps foot on the Abyssal tainted soil, whether or not he will be able to use his earth connection/abilities at all. Given that in the town, the earth seemed to be ‘screaming in agony’, I’d say it’s likely that this Abyssal tainted earth might even fight Greg when he attempts to command it! Looking forward to what happens next :D
