Nurgle Marine: Your Armor is broken! Part 1 - Micropainting, Cracks, Details, Color Variations

Password: 14xK7zKlj

Hey Guys!

Still suffering from the massive manflu, but I have clenched my buttocks and got some editing work done.

In this video I talk a bit about general things and then move right into painting the first part of the armor: the shin-guards:

Starting with trying for some color variations, just like the artwork has and then I move further into some micropainting on cracks in the armor and micropainting to break up large surfaces.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, requests, go ahead and don't hold back!

Currently editing part 2 - painting the rest of the armor.

Cheers, thanks for the continued support and

Stay Creative!

Like I said, could you tell me what error you get? They all work for me I just checked.

Looks like all the plague marine videos are broken. Would LOVE to see these as I start my journey with the box set. I really appreciate that you've approached painting these with a considerable amount of controlled texture.

thanks!

wow thanks a lot!!!

thanks! I am currently editing two more videos on the armor - i also changed my layouts, so the colors are more clearly indicated and i have a palette cam! - i hope it will get a lot clearer then! Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions that pointed me towards this! In this case i did mix Dark Forrest Green to the base green (=Ardennes Green) and added some Black (all scalecolor). Additionally i did apply thin glazes of Dark Sea Blue (VMC) to draw it all together and smooth the gradients. hope that helps!

loving it! really like the colors that you are using. one thing that wasn't very clear to me though, is when you paint the shadows, what colors are you using? do you have a pdf guide? thanks a lot!!!
