Deathguard Marine - Resculpt

HEre it is. It's long. Like I said, it is was 9 hours of footage and I managed to get it down to 4 hours. That's why it is not dubbed. Turning this into a structured video would have taken away too much precious time from filming the next parts and I said: no, it will have to do.

IF you have questions, feel free to ask!

Thanks :) putting a saw to a model is a frontier I have yet to cross :D the restructure does look awesome here though

ah crap, yeah i didnt film that :/ I have a jewelers saw and try to cut where i see makes the most sense, without damaging too many details - OR where I see I can redo some detail on top of that (in this case i knew i would do the tentacles over it anyway, as they come out of the belly). then i try to have a base ready to position the mini on, but that is not necessary - just personal preference. Next i pin the leg to the abdomen with a wire just long enough to have a lenght of the leg that makes sense - at this point i have both parts attached to each other in a flexible way and you can bend and shape the way you want it to look. I usually fix it in place by applying a bit of filler (milliput, any other epoxy or self curing material) and then just go over it with the rest of the structure/detailing - hope that helps!

How did you approach separating the leg to achieve the great pose?
