* Note: Please note that, since the incident from 2019 where the main translator of Demon Sword Maiden had gone MIA on us, we've always been behind intended schedules by 3 months to this date. We've been trying to catch up little by little over time but we are still a little over a month behind schedule. We currently have three translators working on this project but it didn't help that the translators are not able to output as much chapters due to real life complications, some of them are even two months behind due dates now.
We are in touch with the translator and is trying to get them to upload as soon as possible, but as the translator in question has a weak constitution, they are prone to fall ill. Adding on, this is the very same translator from 3 years ago that suddenly got hospitalized for months, leaving us in the mess we are now. If you are wondering why we continue to hire him despite knowing his flaws, it's because his translation skill is top notch. It's not easy to find a translator with skills on par to him, but that doesn't automatically make everything alright. His flaws are still there, his bad habit to overwork himself is still the same, so why do we still keep him around? Maybe I'm just a pushover, maybe I just don't want to let him go because I respect his skills, maybe I just don't want to fire someone who I consider a friend, or maybe it's all of the above.
However, we are aware that this is unfair to the subscribers who paid us to have this series translated, if the translator continues to exhibit this habit, and the majority wishes for us to replace him, then we'll have no choice but to take some actions against him. For now, I sincerely hope it doesn't come to that.
