Should I invest in ChatGPT Plus?
Added 2023-06-08 22:05:08 +0000 UTCDon't get me wrong, I'm still of the opinion that no amount of AI or machine translation models can beat human translator when it comes to novel translations, but you gotta give credit where credit is due, ChatGPT is actually pretty decent in proofreading and rephrasing the translated text.
In fact, all the chapters from Demon Sword Maiden, Reborn as a Transcendent, Hero King, and Vampire Princess these past few weeks were all proofread and rephrased by ChatGPT. If you've noticed the differences and think they are a positive improvement from the pre-edited version, vote "yes". Otherwise, vote "no" and let me know your thoughts!

Hmm... Pretty pricey. If it's just a priority queue thing, I probably wouldn't bother with it unless you've been impeded by it often enough to be an issue.

2023-06-08 22:37:05 +0000 UTCHaven't read any of those, but I can definitely imagine it being helpful with proofreading as long as it's reigned in on the flourishes it tends to add when you ask it to 'rephrase' something. Probably for the best to have someone give it a once over to make sure it's not doing anything wrong, though. As for paying for + ... I honestly don't know what it does or how much it even costs, so if it's not ridiculous... Maybe? Could give it a shot for a month or so and see if you notice any differences in... whatever it's supposed to improve.
