Immersed - Episode 7 Patrons’ Access

The new episode of Immersed, our podcast about the stories behind board game designs, is here—and it’s must-listen podcasting!

This time we look at the game The Networks, which puts players in the armchairs of TV executives. Designer Gil Hova tells us about the game’s origins and whether or not it’s meant to simulate what’s it’s like to schedule a TV network. And special guest Preston Beckman takes us behind the scenes of NBC’s Must See TV era of the 1990s. (Transcript available here.)

As one of our patrons, you can listen to the episode before it releases tomorrow, and you can listen to patrons-only extended interviews with our guests. Gil Hova offers all sorts of game design insights, and Preston Beckman shares lots of great stories about TV in the 90s. (Listen to The Networks extended interviews here.)

You can listen to Immersed by using the patrons-only RSS feed on our campaign homepage, or from any of the links on our website.

Thanks yet again for supporting Cardboard Edison! We wouldn’t be able to make Immersed and all of our other projects without you!
