Total eclipse of Bucees
Added 2023-10-18 14:49:31 +0000 UTCOn Saturday we were heading to San Antonio and we stopped at Bucees for refreshments and saw the eclipse! A fan had given us some eclipse glasses at the Dallas show and we used them to view this spectacular event.
If you've never been to a Bucees it’s like a Walmart or a target that also has gas! It huge and we love going there when we are in Texas ! Have you ever been?
We stood in the parking lot staring at the sun as the moon eclipsed it and made a ring of fire! It was very cool! We‘re you anywhere near the totality when it happened?
it was very neat and we had to take a picture with the Bucee Beaver statue before we continued on the road!

Yeah! Me and my wife were right across from the theater y’all performed at that night in San Antonio! I loved the show! (I was the person who shouted for Cecil right on queue) That was an amazing show and it was so wonderful to see all of y’all up there. Thank you all for a wonderful evening.

2023-10-18 20:42:20 +0000 UTCI was in Houston so we got an 80% cover of the sun from the moon instead of the ring of fire, but it was still really cool! I'm glad that your tour took you right to were it had the ring of fire. It must have been spectacular to behold!

Ona sidetone, I was so happy about being well enough to put out Halloween decorations finally (usually done well before now), I totally forgot about/didn't notice the eclipse until neighbor gave me glasses to catch the last little bit before it was over. So that was nice. Enjoy Boulder you guys.

2023-10-18 15:13:06 +0000 UTCWe were in Albuquerque (loved you in Santa Fe last night!). Totally clear skies, put eclipse glasses over my phone camera and got fabulous pictures of crescent and ring. Looking forward to 4.5 minutes of totality April 8 in Texas (path runs from Texas up through Buffalo NY).
