Painting "Deeds"

The lower half of my palette still shows the colours used in "Maedhros returns" - I rarely clean my palette. I can usually reuse whatever is on it.
Painting the fiery swirls in the background, leaving something like a halo around Maedhros ("His spirit burned like a white fire within" - another reason why the horse will be a sorrel rather than his usual dapple greys!)

Yay for sorrels, fiery swirls and Maedhros kicking orc butt! This is going to be a gorgeous picture. I love the colours already, they feel so right for the dynamic composition.
