Liberty is a trans-woman C*ptain Am*rica spoof where the super soldier serum turned her into a lady, she fought in WW2, then she was frozen and revived in the modern day, which is why she still talks like she's from the 40s (minus the racism).
She fought alongside and eventually married Justice, who's a blind vigilante with super senses and kung fu reflexes (cough cough not D*redevil cough).
(Justice is based on Mister's OC Reflex, but I figured the "Liberty and Justice" motif was too good to pass up, so had to make some changes.)

University graduate and card carrying member of The Guard, the governmental body regulating and supporting superheroes. Although there are still vigilantes, most superheroes are public servants/celebrities in this world, and don't need a secret identity due to Guard protection, although it is still optional to keep your identity secret from the public. Mortar decided to forego a secret id for the sake of convenience and also to be a positive role model for other trans girls. Brick aka William Thompson decided to forego a secret id because, well, he's a fucking living brick, and maintaining one would be too much of a hassle. -edited
