Tiny Finrod and my first ever Maedhros
Added 2021-03-03 07:26:16 +0000 UTCFinished tiny Finrod yesterday! When did I start putting him in teal and turquoise? Probably fairly recently, as I can't think of a lot of coloured Finrod art at all.
It's also MarchofMaedhros the third, and to start us on our March, I've dug up my first ever Silmarillion picture, with a scene you may recognise. ;)
My backgrounds back then consisted of a maximum of fifteen pencil strokes; you can tell the figures were more important. But hey, I remembered the harp and the bow. I imagined Fingon as blonde for another three years; the volume of HoMe that said Maedhros was red-haired would not come out for another three years either, so at least I have an excuse for that one. ;)
For MarchofMaedhros, I'm going to dig into the archives. Please let me know in the comments what you'd like to see - how old and scary you want it, or just the Greatest Hits, or a mix of both. ;)

Finrod is my favorite and itβs always a pleasure to see that you made another image of him. As for Maedhros art, that I also love, greatest hits are great but they are already well known pieces. Iβd rather see less known work β sketches and maybe unfinished pieces, especially the ones that were shared only here and a long time ago.
